Radiant Clarity

Well, things are a little crazy here in Purposeland. Boxes are getting unpacked and new life is beginning. As we set intentions for what our souls and egos desire, whaddaya know, they start showing up. And then we have to get busy.

So a while back I had an intention to move to a city,  to be involved with more people in service to growing my work in the world. I felt called to be more available to a larger population, and have more access to interactions that were nurturing, inspiring and expansive.

That’s  where we started: clarify the dream.

I started to think of what I wanted and blew that to “perfect situation” standards. Too often we sell ourselves short by wishing for what we think the universe or God will give us. Or what we deserve, or would be acceptable. Not the big dream of what we REALLY want. I noticed the places where the dream seemed too large or impossible, and let those limiting thoughts go, replaced by an expanded vision of my life and all its possibility.

I realized wanted to live in a neighborhood where I felt surrounded by like-minded friends, and have neighbors who would be new and different. After over 10 years rural living (read: lovely nature but in the middle of butt-nowhere)and a 45+ minute commute, I wanted a place where I could walk or bike to work, social events,classes or gatherings. Too much time driving and away from people and places that sustained me.

I wanted to be in a nice city with a vibrant downtown and a growing spiritual and cultural arts community. I wanted to be surrounded by charming  homes, surrounded by nature, as I realize more and more the value and importance of beauty as a motivator in my life. And I realized it was closer than I thought. It was right in my backyard.

And VOILA, after a few short months, so it is. I spent last week completing my move, and with the generous help of some  new friends, moved into the new home, that meets all my dreams and more.  It is fantastic to see how the tools of my trade, all the processes I love to share with you,  have aided in this manifestation. The bounty of knowing my purpose and having a connection to a trusted source (divine guidance, soul, whatever you call that All That Is: godstuff) has eased the resistance and increased the flow.

So while it is not all tidy and perfect, I am enjoying my new space, with friends nearby, neighbors dropping by daily to say hello and welcome us to the neighborhood. Once again, I am in awe of the process and how simple and elegant it can be once we get clear and out of our own way.

I sense a newness of beginning, as I orient to this new life. And I am excited.

still wisdom lies within

Well, this is tremendously exciting, to actually, finally have a blog set up (thanks to my charming prince of a husband, I love you, Josiah!)!! I have waited so long for that now that it is ready, do you think I have anything pithy and wise to say? Well, not exactly. But I figured I should jump into the deep end of the pool and at least post something, to get my suit wet, so to speak. Otherwise, if I wait for the pithy and wise, this could be a blank page for quite some time.

So I do want to welcome you, dear friend, for surely you must be  if you are here reading this. Even if we don’t know each other yet, we must surely have a shared soul path, for you to have the least interest to saunter this way.

So what is your longing? I hope I am not being too forward,and can dispense with the cocktail party niceties about the weather.  Are you satisfying your inner itch,   that hunger that sometimes causes you to moan and wail? Are you being your best self,  the one that some ancient part of you knows that you came here to live? Are you living your best life?  I mean really living the bestest biggest version of your dream? I know we all phase in and out of that, I do, anyway.I know, a lot of questions, and not trying to intrude, but…

Well, that’s where my joy is. As a priestess of light on a path of joy my intention is to guide you towards your own alignment, that which you came here for. You know it, a part of you does, and my sacred role is to clearly, joyfully bring you home to that knowledge, to tease that out of you. Actually guide you to cull it from yourself. Even better! then you have the ability to master that on your own journey.

So, for tonight on this maiden voyage of writing into the blogosphere, I think I will leave it at that. I might be doing this quasi-techy part all wrong, and that would be a shame. it has been nice to chat at you, and I hope I see you here again soon.

And by the way, you have a lovely essence, did  you know that?
